Designed by Thomas Wilkinson & Sons, Birmingham, England, the company advertised in 1840 as 'By Special Appointment To Her Majesty'. The trademark with a pelican known as Pelican Ware. Hallmarked: T. W. & S. with pelican, stamped 1411.
