TALL MARIN HOURGLASS

TALL MARIN HOURGLASS
Reproduction of a sailor's tall hourglass, used to measure time and regulate days on board ships. A navigation tool just as essential as maps, compasses, and sextants, hourglasses were held up by knitted steel wire bags and protected from the sea's movement by wood balusters.
